The Chief of the General Staff of the Ecuadorian Air Force, Brigadier General Mauricio Xavier Salazar Machuca, together with his delegation made up of officers of the Ecuadorian Air Force, visited the facilities of the Maintenance Service of Peru SAC on Tuesday, May 7, This year, said delegation was accompanied by the Chief of the General Staff of the Peruvian Air Force, Lieutenant General FAP Rubén Gambarini Oñath, and the General Manager of SEMAN PERÚ SAC, Major General FAP Jaime Arturo Rodríguez Espinoza, who announced the capabilities , services and maintenance work and major repair of aircraft and components that the company offers to national and international clients.
The Brigadier General expressed his interest in the various agreements that have been signed between the Maintenance Service of Peru SAC and the Peruvian Air Force, which allow improving the efficiency of both entities for the benefit of the country.
During the tour of the facilities, the Head of the Production Control Department, COM. FAP Winston Lastra Castillejos gave a brief presentation on the 42-year Calendar Structural Inspection process of the L-100-20 FAP 382 aircraft, which is being processed for maintenance at SEMAN PERÚ SAC. Subsequently, the visit was guided to the Component Maintenance Hangar where the COM. FAP Ricardo Pomar Arteta explained the overhaul work carried out on landing gears of clients from the 5 continents.
